Hello Church!

As I prepare for my final Sunday at Topeka First, my heart is full of gratitude. It has been a gift to serve alongside you, worship with you, and witness the many ways God is at work in this congregation.

This Sunday, I'll be preaching a sermon called Blooming in the Wilderness as we reflect on how God sees us, provides for us, and brings growth even in seasons of change and transition. We will also celebrate the baptism of my son. It feels especially meaningful as I give thanks for the ways this church has already loved, prayed for, and nurtured him.

I hope you'll join us as we worship, celebrate God's faithfulness, and give thanks for all that has been and all that is yet to come. I look forward to sharing this special day with you before we say goodbye.

AV Booth Volunteer Spots Open!

Hi Church Family,

There are some Sunday morning volunteer spots open that I'd like to know if you could help me fill.

During each service, volunteers sit in the AV booth at the back of the Chapel or up in the AV booth in the Sanctuary balcony and help run slides during the service. The "slides" volunteer simply clicks a button to advance the slides. Volunteers always work next to other volunteers and also me. No experience is necessary but you must be in the AV booth 15 minutes before service begins. Let me know if you'd like to help!

8:15 am, 1st Sunday
8:15 am, 5th Sunday
9:30 am, 3rd Sunday
9:30 am, 5th Sunday
10:45 am, 3rd Sunday

The slots are open to folks who would like an easy, once a month volunteer spot. Teenagers and adults are encouraged to volunteer.
