Block Party Details

Greetings Church Family,

We are excited to expand our Block Party this year! A Topeka Fire Department fire truck will be here for mini tours, Kyler Carpenter will be leading music, Melissa Wheeler will be face painting, Starbucks is donating some coffee (whoo hoo!!), Oak Street Health & Thrive Therapy of Kansas will have booths promoting community health & wellness, and we will also have Child ID kits available!

Of course, the super popular cake walk returns along with storytime led by Marlana & Judy and cool crafts led by De!! This year, we are serving pulled pork, baked beans, corn, watermelon & chips (all food was donated)! 

These are items that can be donated and dropped off Wednesday or Thursday 9 am-3 pm or on Saturday beginning at 2 pm: (15) coolers, (lots) water bottles, (4) toaster ovens, (LOTS) desserts for cake walk, potato salad.

Food volunteers please arrive at 2 pm. Other volunteers arrive at 3:30 pm. Please wear your red TFUMC volunteer shirt or another red shirt. We do have a few more available. We will NOT be wearing name tags.
