This week, our pastors and lay members will be traveling to Salina for Annual Conference. While always exciting, this year is a little extra special. Pastor Grace will be ordained on Saturday morning June 7, at 11:00 am. A WATCH PARTY is planned for Saturday, June 7! Doors at church will open at 10:30 am and the ordination ceremony starts at 11:00 am! Join in the fun and watch Pastor Grace become ordained! Then, on Sunday, June 8th, we will celebrate Pastor Grace's ordination in all 3 services. I would invite you to bring cards and well wishes as she enters this next phase of ministry.
Our new sermon series this week is called "the Bible?" Over the next three weeks we will focus upon the different questions you might have about the bible. This Sunday we begin with this question: Why are there 4 gospels stories? The story of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection occurs 4 times, in 4 books of the bible. Why can't we have just one book of the bible that tells this story? With the emphasis of this new sermon series on the bible, I would encourage you to bring your bible! I hope you will join us Sunday, as we explore the four gospels, and how they lead us into a deeper understanding of God, and his Son Jesus Christ.
Shawna & Tiwana are hosting an Elvanto help session this Sunday! If you have questions about how to access the member directory on your phone, be sure to connect with them. They'll be in the chapel after the first service and then will be in the celebration room ready to help you. Be sure you know or bring your phone password with you if you've never installed the Elvnato app since most app stores require it when you initially install a new app. If you don't know your Elvanto password, Shawna will reset it for you.
