Topeka First UMC News, Info., & Events, May 24, 2025Greetings Topeka First UMC, I hope you are having a great week! Thank you to everyone who made the Be the Bridge Celebration Sunday such a special day! We celebrated with balloons, cookies, and Jubilee! This campaign would not have been a success without everyone's participation. Thank you for your prayers, time, service, and gifts. Our total number of pledges and dollars raised continues to rise. We now sit at 152 pledges and $911,419.18! So where does that leave us? In a meeting with the contractors this week, we discussed getting the work on the inside of the church completed over the next 3-4 months. Once that is completed, we will work on the Portico and the windows. These projects will take more time to plan and will hopefully be completed in 2026. On Thursday, we participated inthe celebration of the 4 year anniversary of the Mobile Access Partnership (MAP) with a press conference. It was announced that MAP will be moving to the Let's Help building on McVicar beginning in July! You can watch the WIBW news article here.
