I hope you’re having a great week!

Thank you to everyone who has already submitted a pledge card for our Be the Bridge campaign. We’re making great progress! Please continue to be in prayer for the campaign and all the ways we can Be the Bridge for one another and our community.

This Sunday, we will celebrate our graduates! As May begins, we mark the end of the school year and the exciting season of new beginnings. I hope you’ll join us in worship as we honor those who are graduating and stepping into the next chapter of their lives.

Our worship theme for the next two Sundays continues to center on resurrection. This week, we’ll reflect on a resurrection story that offers both a future hope and a reminder of God’s presence with us here and now. We will also celebrate Holy Communion in all three services.

We’re closing out spring youth group with Messy Night on Wednesday, May 7 from 6–8 p.m. Come ready for a wild and fun evening of messy games, snacks, and celebration as we wrap up the school year! Be sure to bring a towel and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. This night also marks when we will initiate incoming 6th graders (current 5th graders) and honor outgoing seniors.

Mobile Access Partnership (MAP) offers services to individuals including showers, laundry, a hot meal, and health care. Sometimes, the K-State Vet Clinic & the Street Dog Coalition are also on site to help with pet care needs. Topeka First UMC hosts the MAP service in our parking lot. Volunteers sit inside the church building and let individuals in to use the restrooms.  Sign up here to be an "indoor bathroom monitor" using this link.
