Good Morning Topeka First UMC,

This is Pastor Sandra and I have the privelage of preaching this Sunday. I hope this email finds you well and at peace.

I would like to personally invite you to join us this Sunday for a meaningful time of worship and reflection. As we gather, we will delve into the topic of navigating the noise of our modern world and how we can hear and follow the voice of Jesus, our true Shepherd.

As we prepare our hearts for this Sunday, I encourage you to reflect on the voices you are hearing in your life. What are they saying to you? And how does the voice of Jesus speak differently, offering life and hope amid it all?

I look forward to gathering in worship and fellowship with you. May this time together bring you closer to the reassuring, loving voice of the Shepherd.

Topeka First UMC is happy to announce Steve & Joan Tempero have been members for 50 years this year!

Topeka First UMC is happy to announce Max & Millie Foster have been members for 50 years this year!

Here are a couple photos of those who were able to join together for the annual celebration of 50 + year members.

Adults & high school students who enjoy singing should come to the choir room in the basement on the following dates:

Sunday practices will be held: Nov. 24, Dec. 1, 8, & 15 from 9:15 am - 10 am. Additionally, there is a required practice on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 9 am.  You are not required to be at any Thursday evening practices.

The Sunday morning practice group will join with the Thursday evening practice group for the 10:45 am service on Sunday, Dec. 22 and also the 11 pm Christmas Eve service.
