Adults at Topeka First UMC have many opportunities to be involved in the life of the church as well as to make lasting connections to others.
In addition to multiple Sunday Adult Classes, there are mid-week opportunities including Wednesday evening yoga, Tuesday quilting, Phase 2 fellowship events. Recently, those who are interested in family history and Geneaology have begun meeting on Wednesday mornings. There is a Men's group who gets together on Saturday mornings & for special events, and a couple of Women's groups who gather during the daytime.
Topeka First is grateful to have a fully stocked library and have had many groups who have met for book clubs!
For those who are musically talented, we offer the following: Bells (beginner & advanced), a praise band (singers, musicians), and a choir. If you can play the piano or organ, we'd love to have you meet our worship leaders!
Adults intersted in serving through missional work should consider visiting our Missions team! We support other groups throughout the Topeka area in their missions serving Topeka.
Additionaly, many adults are part of our Stephen Ministry.
Many adults are involved by being part of the Prayer Team!
