Greetings Topeka First UMC,

I hope that you are having a wonderful week!

I wanted to give  you a few updates with so many projects happening at the church:

• The electronic sign has been ordered and the base for it has been built. We don't know when it will arrive but soon we hope!
• The parking lot is done and was striped at the end of last week!
• Thank you again for all of you who gave toward the Be the Bridge Capital Campaign. We received $913,000 in pledges!
• Work on the inside of the building will begin as soon as KBS contractors get us final bids. The hope of the Project and Executive teams is to get the inside of the church finished this year. The portico and the windows outside will take longer but should be completed in 2026. 

Coming up this weekend, we will conclude our sermon series on the Bible. This Sunday, we will look at how we can approach the scriptures and use the Bible in our own spiritual journey. This week is also Trinity Sunday and we have a something special from the children of the church in all three services!

Summer schedules are upon us! Will you please click this link to sign up to be a greeter during the June & July service you normally attend? 

Next Tuesday is the session of  last date for us to host MAP (Mobile Access Partnership) before they move to their new indoor location in July. This is the link to sign up to help on that last day. There are a couple of indoor bathroom monitor spots still open so please sign up if you're available.
