Over the next couple months or so, I am hosting a series of Listening/Visioning meetings. These meetings are designed to give you updates about our church, and to discuss proposals that are being set forth by the vision team. Please be sure to sign up for one of the sessions:
Coming up on Sunday, we are beginning a new sermon series titled, "Living a Life of Gratitude." Within this three-week series, we will explore some of the key elements that are essential for gratitude to be present in our lives. We begin this week with trust. In the message this week, we will look at how trust in God can lead to a deeper sense of thankfulness and gratitude.
The Youth Back-to-School Kickoff is this Sunday after church from 12-1:30 pm. Youth are invited for pizza and games to kick off the school year. If you have any questions, please ask Pastor Grace.
On September 8, Know..Grow..Go "Focusing on Building Faith" Sunday Kid's Ministry options begin! Children's Director, DeAnna Guzman, (along with a bunch of volunteers!) will be leading the 9:30am age 5 - 5th Grade Sunday School time. Janie Peters and volunteers will be leading the 9:30 am 3 & 4 year-old Sunday School class!
Also starting on September 8, our new Chapel Kid's Church "Focusing on Worship" begins! Kids will begin in the Sanctuary for a children's message at the front of the Sanctuary and then will head into the Chapel for their own worship time with DeAnna & volunteers! You can find a spot to help our Kid's Ministry using this link.
Our Wednesday night Kid's programming, "Hey God...Can I Ask You Anything?" begins September 11 at 6 pm. Stay tuned for the class I'll be leading this fall. We've got some special Wednesday evenings coming soon!

Thank-you to everyone who has given this month towards the Helping Hands Fund! We have one more Sunday to focus on this Helping Hands fund.
