Topeka First UMC News, Info., & Events, Aug. 1, 2025
Greetings Topeka First UMC, I hope that you are having a great week! Sunday in worship will be a very special day! The youth mission team will be presenting part of the message, and looking at how God blessed us and the people we worked with on the mission trip. The theme of the mission trip and the theme for this Sunday is "Be the Light!" The youth and adults did some amazing work, and left a lasting impact on a number of families. I hope you will join us Sunday to celebrate the youth mission trip! Because of the mission trip presentation, we'll celebrate Holy Communion together on Aug. 10 instead. The 3rd Annual Downtown Block Party is next Saturday from 5 - 7 pm! If you are volunteering, please check in with Shawna Sunday between services. An email with full Block Party details will be sent Tuesday. See you Sunday, Pastor Brad |
