Spring Break VBS: Lend a Hand For the Good of the City!
This year our Children's Discipleship team is hosting a special Spring Break VBS. We hope that this will be a new and exiting way to support families in our community while the kiddos are out of school. We hope that you will share this excitement with us and consider helping out as a volunteer or by donating supplies.
What can members do?
One of the focuses of our Spring Break VBS will be helping those in our community. As part of that we will be building freezer meals and lunch kits for those in need. Help us by donating items or money for purchasing the specific items we need for two projects. All items and donations can be given to Allison Brewer at the Church by March 7.
Project 1: Preparing freezer meals for families with new babies and health emergencies.
Needs: Frozen chicken breasts, canned corn, canned black beans, canned tomatoes
Project 2: Packing Sack Lunches for Harvesters "Give Lunch" program.
Needs: Canned Vienna Sausage with pop tops, reduced sugar jello or pudding- shelf stable, fruit cups with pop top, juice boxes, Individual packs of mixed nuts
We are also always looking for volunteers to help with the programs connected to Children's Discipleship. If you want to learn more about how you can help transform the lives of kids connected to our church, contact Allison Brewer.
